Sensorium is collections of essays by Agnieszka Jelewska, studying relations between art, science, philosophy and human experience. For more info about its contents head over here (PL).

For this project I’ve prepared special algorithm (printed on the back of inside covers), that analyzed book content, and created map of correlations between words.

It’s always very interesting to see prints of designs created by computer programs, I hope to get more chances to do things like that in the future.

Here’s excerpt from concert played during Vision’R festival as part of “Seas Of Tranquility” project by Few Quiet People and PussyKrew.

This fragment was improvised variation on one of new tracks from my upcoming album on Kitchen. Label.

MicroTones is my first iOS app – a microtonal synthesizer, allowing simultaneous playback of up to thirty sinewaves set with accuracy to one hundredth of a hertz.

You can place new sinewaves just by touching the screen, adjust volume (moving up and down) and frequency. Combination of multiple sinewaves lets you create instant drones and ambient atmospheres.

To adjust frequency range use scale displayed at the bottom of the screen – move to lower/higher frequencies, zoom in to adjust sinewaves with more accuracy, or zoom out and see the whole picture.
Remove one or more sinewaves just by dragging them to the bottom of the screen, or all at once by shaking your device.

My remix of “Green Faces” for Christopher Willits Remix Project was included in special compilation released by overlap.

This compilation features almost 50 tracks selected by Christopher from many submission, and some done by his friends.

LiveLooper is simple double mono looper with reverb and record options, made for improvising with acoustic instruments.
It was originally prepared for Stefan Wesołowski.

LiveLooper was created in Max/MSP 6, with help of Gigaverb external made by Juhana Sadeharju & Olaf Matthes.

The beautiful sounds of Wesolowski’s violin work very well together with Kaliski’s electronic background, which is quite delicate on most tracks (the exception being 281011#3 which includes quite some feedback distortion).

For this project I’ve created custom application in max/msp, that used OSC messages sent from Dodecaudion to control volumes and panning of prerecorded samples (drones and field recordings), as well as different effects. Sound was fed into long looper that helped me easily create layered composition. Stefan was also using this application, as his violin was recording on second, shorter looper.

Effect is densely layered, seemingly linear, but yet very interesting album with six tracks, and one special remix made afterwards by me (track no. 2).
